How to take body measurements
Waist: Stand with both feet on the floor and bend to one side at the waist. Stand and bend to the other side. The deepest part of the creases or dimples that is formed on each side is the natural waistline. That is where you should measure the waist.
Hips: You’ll want the widest point below the waist. Depending on the child, that could be at the hipline or it could be at the lower part of their derriere.
Length: This is the distance between their natural waist (above) and wherever you want the bottom of the skirt to ride.
